In every couple’s life, the phase of pregnancy can be a wonderful time. But the journey especially for the mother to be is not going to be easy as there are many pregnancy symptoms that might be faced. First trimester: Nausea and vomiting
This is one common pregnancy symptom that nearly 85% of the woman usually experiences. It is also called morning sickness and is an unpleasant sign that can strike anytime but mostly during the day. According to the experts, vomiting and nausea are experienced by women due to the high level of the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone. This usually is produced when the fertilized egg gets attached to the uterus and then it keeps on rising through the first trimester. This way the pregnancy is well maintained till the time placenta can take over entirely. In such a case it is always good to speak with a doctor and drink chamomile tea or even wear the anti-nausea wristband.
Second trimester: Constipation
This is another common sign that most women usually face in the second trimester. There may not be a hormonal change shortage happening in the body. But it is progesterone that plays an important role not just in pregnancy but also in sex drive and menstruation as well. As the level of progesterone during pregnancy increases, there might be slow contractions and constipation that a woman can notice. During such times, it is good to improve the hydration in the body. The best way is to drink at least 2 litres of water every day. Besides, adding fruits and herbs can also be an appealing thing to do. There are some foods such as watermelon, cucumber and even food options with a high water content that can keep up the hydration level.
Third trimester: Heartburn
During the third trimester to have heartburn is quite a common sign that a woman can notice. There might be heartburn that can increase the progesterone level while relaxing the valve of the stomach. Due to this sometimes acid can get backed up in the esophagus and hence the problem becomes prominent. During such times, it is important to at least walk for the next 60 minutes and avoid all kinds of acidic food. It is always better to eat small meals throughout the day.
